We NEED YOU to ensure over 120,000 of our neighbors have the food and quality nutrition they need to go to school, work, and allow our community to thrive.
The Community Food Bank supplies pantries, meal sites, and shelters across Citrus, Hernando, and Sumter counties and connects our neighbors in need to the resources they need to regain their independence with every meal.
- Hunger is in every subdivision, every workplace, and at every age
- 52% of our neighbors are living one paycheck away from hunger
- 120,000 residents receive food relief through our efforts daily
- 60,000 rely on SNAP benefits that don’t meet all of their needs
- Our pantry partners continue to serve and connect clients to resources and pathways to independence
- 5 million meals are needed in 2026
