Donations Help Fill the Gap as the Need for Food Grows
We’ve all been taken by surprise by the coronavirus (COVID-19). Many people who have been laid off or furloughed are now finding it difficult to make ends meet. The Community Food Bank (CFB) is committed to keeping the more than 50 local food agencies (shelters, ministries, food pantries, etc.) we serve fully stocked and ready to serve those in need throughout our community.
We would like to extend a special thank you to three organizations who have generously donated to the CFB to help ensure our growing needs are met:
$2500
Enterprise Holdings Foundation
$2500
Intersection of County Road 486 and County Road 491, Lecanto
$2000
13360 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville
We understand that many businesses are dealing with challenges as a result of COVID-19. The CFB is truly fortunate and grateful that the Enterprise Holdings Foundation, Wawa and Sam’s Club have stepped up to the plate to help us help the community. We couldn’t do it without your generous support!
